Friday Live from PCC Lancer Radio | XEIM EP Release + Poetry by Bo Benton

PODCAST #4  Friday Live from PCC Lancer Radio with host Bo Benton features a powerful two-part episode. In the first segment, rising artist XEIM shares insight into his upcoming EP releasing this spring and his evolution from producer to recording artist. The conversation covers everything from creative identity to navigating the music industry and stepping confidently into a new chapter as an artist.

In the second segment, Bo Benton delivers an intimate poetry reading from the debut collection “Pieces of Me: 101 Poems by Bo Benton.” Featured poems include “Pieces of Me,” “My Grandma’s Cornbread Crackers,” and “The Conjuring of Hope,” a moving dedication to the children of Gaza and Palestine. PCC On Me – Fall 2025!

Episode 6 of PCC On Me is here—and it’s a milestone! Rising host and journalist Dominique Lopez leads a powerful conversation with distinguished PCC alumna, Mariana Cardenas Ceballos, now an LAist and PBS Ambassador, as she shares her journey, her success, and how PCC shaped her path. This episode also makes history for the series, directed by our first-ever high school student: 11th-grader Esme Woerner from Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, whose vision and talent elevated the show to new heights.

Episode 5 of PCC On Me is here! Produced by the PCC TVR 007 students of Summer 2025, this episode highlights Professor Jack Constant, PCC Film faculty and proud alum, as we continue “Celebrating the People Who Make PCC Shine.” Created by the Fall 2024 student showrunners in partnership with Professor Glenn D. Cunanan, PCC On Me is a student-produced talk show from Pasadena City College. Each episode features a student host engaging in meaningful conversations with a guest—alumni, faculty, staff, or community members—focusing on their journey, achievements, and connection to PCC. Through diverse voices and inspiring stories, the series honors the people who help shape and elevate the PCC community.

STUDENT PROJECT – Summer 2025

TVR 004 Summer 2025 final project: Students were assigned to produce, shoot, and edit a 6–10 minute short documentary that explored a specific aspect of the Eaton Fire in Altadena. Each film was designed to tell a compelling, visually engaging, and ethically responsible story that highlights the fire’s impact through a chosen subtopic. We are proud to showcase the work of David Muñoz, created under the direction of Professor Glenn D Cunanan.

Student Showcase: PCC Weekday Morning – A news and lifestyle show modeled after CBS Saturday Morning. It blends local news with segments on lifestyle, politics, innovation, and culture, encouraging students to explore valuable perspectives beyond what they typically see on their phones.
